About me:

Andrew Riches – Luthier and Fingerstyle Guitarist

Andrew has been playing guitar since 1997, and it’s kind of just been part of who he is ever since. He’s drawn to fingerstyle because it lets him do more with the instrument - melody, rhythm and feel all at once - creating songs that people can sink into and relate to.

Over time, his curiosity about the instrument itself grew just as strong as his love for playing it. That lead him into lutherie - learning how to build guitars from the ground up. His training began in 2019 with Timeless Instruments in Tugaske, Saskatchewan, and he later studied at the Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery in Phoenix, Arizona in 2025.

Now, Andrew brings those two worlds together. The guitars he makes are shaped by years of playing with a focus on feel, sound, and the little details that matter when you pick one up. Each one is original and built for musicians who want something that truly feels like their own.

Whether he’s performing or building, Andrew just wants to create things that people connect with and keep coming back to.
