Handcrafted
stringed instrument builds

I build handcrafted acoustic instruments for players who value authenticity, tone, and enduring craftsmanship. Each guitar, ukulele, and lap steel is made one at a time using traditional techniques and carefully selected tonewoods, ensuring every instrument carries its own character and voice.

From the first cut of wood to the final setup, every step is done by hand with precision and intention. Attention to detail and tonal balance guide the process. And this results in instruments that are responsive, resonant and built to last.

These are not mass-produced pieces. They are thoughtfully crafted instruments shaped by experience, patience and respect for materials. The goal is simple: to create instruments that feel alive in your hands and inspire you every time you play.

Guitar setup & repair

A great instrument deserves proper care. I offer professional guitar setup and repair services focused on playability, structural integrity, and long-term performance. Whether your instrument needs a seasonal adjustment, fretwork, or structural repair, each service is approached with the same precision and attention to detail that defines my handcrafted builds.

  • A proper setup transforms an instrument. Action height, neck relief, intonation, and overall feel must work together to support the player — not fight them. Whether your guitar needs a seasonal adjustment or a full performance setup, I approach each instrument individually to ensure comfort, responsiveness.

  • Routine maintenance preserves both tone and longevity. Over time, fret wear, dryness, hardware fatigue, and environmental changes affect performance. Thoughtful cleaning, conditioning, and small adjustments keep your instrument healthy, stable, and performing at its best — preventing larger issues down the road.

  • When structural or functional issues arise, precision matters. From cracks and loose braces to electronics and hardware repairs, each issue is assessed carefully before work begins.

  • Bench rate $120 per hour.

    $60 minimum for any work.

Through open mic nights, live performances, I support musicians on stage and behind the scenes.
